This was the first anime-based costume I ever made. I specifically made it for Halloween with the intention of wearing it to ACen '02, but I didn't end up getting there until 2004.

At the time, because I'm no good with wigs and am too poor to buy stylized ones, I tried to go for a character with short hair. I know I messed up on the kanji(they say "Goku" when together), but it was not only impossible find a decent reference pic from that special, but just as difficult to find the movie.

Also like many DBZ cosplayers, I wasn't really able to find a decent pair of boots to go with it, so I just stuck with regular boots.
