What got you into cosplay?
After seeing the cosplayers at my first convention I decided to try it out myself with a couple of friends =D it was a totally different experience! Running around as your favorite character, quoting and making noises isn't something you can do everyday I guess =))
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was actually Heather from Silent Hill 3 =) I just gathered the cloths from different shops and edited them a little. I just made it like 4 hours into the game before I wet my pants and put it away forever but her cloths seemed casual enough to be found in town, and Heathers attitude rocks ^_^ You go girl!
What is your favorite costume and why?
I haven't cosplayed much so far but Mamimi from FLCL has to be the favorite so far =D accessories really do it for me! and I managed to gather her bag, the cat Takkun, the photocamera, her smokes(snatched from dad ^^;) and the catear-hat.
It was easy and fun to wear =))
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Harle from Chrono Cross is my ultimate dream-cosplay!
and making a Monkey Island group would be teh greatest thing ever!! =D the accessories on Guybrush, oh yeah baby! the only problem would be fitting them all into the pants...
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
watching samurai champloo, in the convention, with the Fuu-costume on =)
Oh and that one time when I was walking around as Heather from Silent Hill 3 with my two friends Robin and Ewe who were Link(Legend of Zelda, but ya already know it! =D) and Mireille(Noir) and we met some teenagers ^^ and they were screaming "It's Zelda! Zelda!!". They thought me and Ewe were Bond-chicks ^^; and that our toy-guns were real haha =D
Oh, that was good fun!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
An honorable mention at Uppcon 04 and Jury's choice at Uppcon05.
Though it has to be considered that Swedish conventions only get's 30-40 cosplayers =) although the number is rising steadily!
