What got you into cosplay?
I saw it mentioned in passing on some websites and then my friend (LadyAmaryllis) told me about going to Anime Expo and how they cosplayed. So I joined them the next year and loved it!
What was your first costume and why?
Sailor Mercury - She's my anime/manga favorite character. Mainly because she was so like me. It didn't hurt that the costume wasn't that hard to make. ^_^
What is your favorite costume and why?
Eowyn or Sakura. Eowyn is gorgeous, but Sakura is so fun and comfortable to wear and has gotten such a good reception that it's becoming higher up there.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'm not sure really. Probably a new version of my Sailor Mercury and perhaps finally get Princess Mercury done.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being one of the Four Generals from Sailor Moon in the Masquerade at AX '03.
Do you participate in masquerades?
My gosh, never planned to, but they grabbed us at AX '03 and told us we should do a walk on. My group was the 4 Generals from the first season of Sailor Moon and we had fun!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Lol, see above.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope, only tried the once and LadyAmaryllis made 'em anyway.
